Russ Taylor, MSW, has a primary industry focus in health care, including, public health, primary care, HMO, VA and insurance organizations. Other industry experience includes technology, financial services, pharmaceuticals, aerospace, manufacturing, higher education, and nonprofits.
Prior to his current work, Russ was a senior and managing consultant for twelve years with Drake Beam Morin, a global human resources consulting firm. He also held management positions in several leading Pacific Northwest social services and performing arts organizations. He has been a member of the Downtown Seattle Rotary for 17 years and has served as a board member with numerous educational, community and professional organizations. He presently leads a Rotary project to support veterans and service members returning to the community.
Russ holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Washington, with a graduate internship at the American Lake Veterans Administration hospital. He is a Certified Hudson Institute coach and a member of the International Coaching Federation. He is trained in the interpretation of many assessment instruments used for development purposes. Russ’s continuing professional education includes work with the Center for Creative Leadership, the Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara, Coaches’ Training Institute, Eckerd College Leadership Development Institute, and Retirement Options.
